A top price for George Paice - as previously expected
In November 2003 Christies in London held the auction SPORTING ART AND DOGS, which included the work Over the ditch by George Paice. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,937.50 (€ 4,216.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Over the ditch is the most expensive artwork by George Paice that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion SPORTING ART AND DOGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Over the ditch von George Paice zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.937,50 (€ 4.216,82) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Over the ditch das teuerste Kunstwerk von George Paice, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
