Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,241.76). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by George Oberteuffer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club, Maine, which sold at auction in October 2007 for USD 20,000.00 (€ 13,823.61).
