Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Still life with fruits and walnuts by George Lance for SEK 16,000.00 (€ 1,747.26). This price was achieved in the auction Classic Sale at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Lance achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Burgomaster'S Dessert in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 20,912.50 (€ 30,082.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still life with fruits and walnuts von George Lance für SEK 16.000,00 (€ 1.747,26) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Classic Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Lance erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Burgomaster'S Dessert im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.912,50 (€ 30.082,52).
