Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Standing Figure by George Kennethson was sold in the Modern British & Irish Art Evening Sale auction at Christies in London in November 2016. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,497.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by George Kennethson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2018 the work Spirit Of Weston was auctioned for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,849.43).
