The work Girl with a leaf by George Kennethson was sold in the Modern British Art Day Sale auction at Christies in London in November 2018. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,919.54) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by George Kennethson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spirit Of Weston, which sold at auction in March 2018 for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,849.43).

Die Arbeit Girl with a leaf von George Kennethson wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Modern British Art Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.919,54) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von George Kennethson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spirit Of Weston beobachtet, die im März 2018 für GBP 35.000,00 (€ 39.849,43) versteigert wurde.
