Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Grapes; and Grapes and Peaches: A Pair of Works by George Henry Hall was auctioned at Christies in New York in December 2004. It changed hands for a price of USD 33,460.00 (€ 24,715.62) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by George Henry Hall have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bric-a-Brac in January this year with an auction result of USD 151,200.00 (€ 139,252.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Grapes; and Grapes and Peaches: A Pair of Works von George Henry Hall kam im Dezember 2004 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 33.460,00 (€ 24.715,62) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von George Henry Hall auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bric-a-Brac im Januar diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 139.252,16).
