Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Grapes And Peach by George Henry Hall. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,970.00 (€ 10,215.05), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Henry Hall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bric-a-Brac in January this year with an auction result of USD 151,200.00 (€ 139,252.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Grapes And Peach von George Henry Hall zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.970,00 (€ 10.215,05) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Henry Hall erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bric-a-Brac im Januar diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 139.252,16).
