The price achieved of USD 607,500.00 (€ 540,672.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, To Hartford--IX Miles is the most expensive artwork by George Henry Durrie that we have observed at auctions so far.
