In the Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work Hill Top View of the River sold for USD 18,000.00 (€ 13,458.95) - well above the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by George Gardner Symons - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blush of Evening, which sold at auction in September 2007 for USD 46,600.00 (€ 32,773.05).
