A top price for George Gardner Symons - as previously expected
The work Blush of Evening by George Gardner Symons was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2007. The price achieved of USD 46,600.00 (€ 32,773.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Blush of Evening is the most expensive artwork by George Gardner Symons that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Blush of Evening von George Gardner Symons kam im September 2007 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 46.600,00 (€ 32.773,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden.
