In July this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Head by George Fullard. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,040.00 (€ 8,213.55), 41% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by George Fullard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Glancing Woman, which sold at auction in July 2010 for GBP 18,125.00 (€ 21,793.27).

Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Head von George Fullard zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 7.040,00 (€ 8.213,55) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von George Fullard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Glancing Woman beobachtet, die im Juli 2010 für GBP 18.125,00 (€ 21.793,27) versteigert wurde.
