Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Frederick Watts achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hope in June 2001 with an auction result of GBP 773,750.00 (€ 1,285,352.70).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Frederick Watts erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hope im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 773.750,00 (€ 1.285.352,70).
