Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by George Finch Mason could be acquired at Christies in London in June 2004 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Sporting Art and Dogs auction, the work Fordham Wins!; and Archer Wins! changed hands for GBP 478.00 (€ 711.41) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Finch Mason achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The London To Norwich Coach With A Hunt Beyond in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 5,975.00 (€ 8,595.01).

Dieses Kunstwerk von George Finch Mason konnte im Juni 2004 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Sporting Art and Dogs wechselte die Arbeit Fordham Wins!; and Archer Wins! für GBP 478,00 (€ 711,41) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Finch Mason erzielen.
