Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of AUD 3,585.00 (€ 2,248.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by George Feather Lawrence - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Winter Landscape, Bathurst, which sold at auction in April 2003 for AUD 9,400.00 (€ 4,793.39).
