A top price for George Biddle - as previously expected
The work Mother And Child by George Biddle was sold in the Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction at Christies in New York in March 2005. The auction ended at the price of USD 9,000.00 (€ 6,939.63), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Mother And Child is the most expensive artwork by George Biddle that we have observed at auctions so far.
