Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam, which included this untitled work by Georg Herold. The price achieved of EUR 3,780.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georg Herold achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 121,250.00 (€ 142,822.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Georg Herold zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.780,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georg Herold erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Februar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 121.250,00 (€ 142.822,36).
