The work Papaya; Musae; Cedrus; Hurae; Magnolie; Podophyllum; Mespilus; Bocconla; Ledum; Pulmonaria; Meriana; and Ehretia, from Plantae Selectae by Georg Dionysius Ehret was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2005. It achieved a price of GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,226.61), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georg Dionysius Ehret achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gloriosa superba (Glory Lily) in June 2001 with an auction result of GBP 30,550.00 (€ 50,749.63).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.880,00 (€ 4.226,61) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georg Dionysius Ehret erzielen.
