In October 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary African Art, which included the work Self-Portrait by Geoffrey Mukasa. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,970.00 (€ 13,291.66), 50% above the upper estimate. Other works by Geoffrey Mukasa have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 12,112.50 (€ 14,229.07) in March 2021 for the work Fisherwoman.

Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Self-Portrait von Geoffrey Mukasa zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.970,00 (€ 13.291,66) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Geoffrey Mukasa haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.112,50 (€ 14.229,07) im März 2021 für die Arbeit Fisherwoman beobachtet.
