Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Muslim Community by Geoffrey Mukasa was sold in the Modern & Contemporary African Art auction at Sothebys in London in October 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,820.00 (€ 9,793.86). Other works by Geoffrey Mukasa have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 12,112.50 (€ 14,229.07) in March 2021 for the work Fisherwoman.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Muslim Community von Geoffrey Mukasa wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.820,00 (€ 9.793,86) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Geoffrey Mukasa haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.112,50 (€ 14.229,07) im März 2021 für die Arbeit Fisherwoman beobachtet.
