The result of HKD 800,000.00 (€ 73,879.69) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 800,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Geng Jianyi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two People Under A Light in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 18,580,000.00 (€ 1,614,671.07).
