The work As If Fighting by Geng Jianyi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2011. It achieved a price of HKD 920,000.00 (€ 79,951.42), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 31%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Geng Jianyi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two People Under A Light in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 18,580,000.00 (€ 1,614,671.07).

Die Arbeit As If Fighting von Geng Jianyi kam im April 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 920.000,00 (€ 79.951,42) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Geng Jianyi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two People Under A Light im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 18.580.000,00 (€ 1.614.671,07).
