Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Geneviève Asse achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in December this year. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Sans titre - circa 1958 sold for EUR 14,432.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Geneviève Asse - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ouverture Lumière, which sold at auction in December last year for EUR 37,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Geneviève Asse erzielte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Sans titre - circa 1958 für EUR 14.432,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Geneviève Asse mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ouverture Lumière beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für EUR 37.800,00 versteigert wurde.
