Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ensemble de deux oeuvres sur papier by Gen Paul was sold in the Modern Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in April this year. The price achieved of EUR 1,181.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gen Paul achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Joueur De Guitare, Circa 1925 in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 172,249.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ensemble de deux oeuvres sur papier von Gen Paul wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.181,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gen Paul erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Joueur De Guitare, Circa 1925 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 172.249,00.
