Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Gen Paul achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in New York in November this year. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Matador sold for USD 16,640.00 (€ 15,254.86) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gen Paul achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Joueur De Guitare, Circa 1925 in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 172,249.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gen Paul erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Matador für USD 16.640,00 (€ 15.254,86) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gen Paul erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Joueur De Guitare, Circa 1925 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 172.249,00.
