The work Composition by Geer van Velde was auctioned at Sothebys in Cologne in April last year. It achieved a price of EUR 6,930.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 73 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Geer van Velde achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition in October 2018 with an auction result of EUR 343,500.00.

Die Arbeit Composition von Geer van Velde kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Köln zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 6.930,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 73 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Geer van Velde erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 343.500,00.
