Die Arbeit Composition von Geer van Velde kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 4.032,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Geer van Velde erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 343.500,00.
