A top price for Geer van Velde
In October 2018 Christies in Paris held the auction Paris Avant-Garde, which included the work Composition by Geer van Velde. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 343,500.00 37% above the upper estimate. With this result, Composition is even the most expensive work of art by Geer van Velde that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2018 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Paris Avant-Garde durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition von Geer van Velde zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 343.500,00 und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Composition sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Geer van Velde, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
