This artwork by Gavril Pavlovich Kondratenko achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2019. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work Morning In Pavlovsk Park sold for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 44,034.17) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gavril Pavlovich Kondratenko - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Driving the wagons in a Crimean landscape, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 96,500.00 (€ 135,124.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gavril Pavlovich Kondratenko erzielte im November 2019 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit Morning In Pavlovsk Park für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 44.034,17) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Gavril Pavlovich Kondratenko mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Driving the wagons in a Crimean landscape beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 96.500,00 (€ 135.124,97) versteigert wurde.
