In the Russian Pictures auction, the work Morning In Pavlovsk Park sold for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 44,034.17) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gavril Pavlovich Kondratenko - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Driving the wagons in a Crimean landscape, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 96,500.00 (€ 135,124.97).
