Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2014 Christies in London held the auction First Open/LDN, which included the work Pillow by Gavin Turk. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,766.11). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gavin Turk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pile in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 104,500.00 (€ 147,343.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open/LDN durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pillow von Gavin Turk zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.766,11) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gavin Turk erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pile im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 104.500,00 (€ 147.343,69).
