Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Vase de fleurs by Gaston Sébire was sold in the Interiors auction at Christies in New York in February 2015. It achieved a price of USD 3,500.00 (€ 3,125.84), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gaston Sébire - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le matin au Canet, which sold at auction in February 2007 for USD 14,400.00 (€ 10,884.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.500,00 (€ 3.125,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Gaston Sébire mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le matin au Canet beobachtet, die im Februar 2007 für USD 14.400,00 (€ 10.884,35) versteigert wurde.
