Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2007 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Bateaux A Quai by Gaston Sébire. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,859.00 24% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Gaston Sébire have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le matin au Canet in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 14,400.00 (€ 10,884.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2007 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bateaux A Quai von Gaston Sébire zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.859,00 und damit 24% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gaston Sébire auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le matin au Canet im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 14.400,00 (€ 10.884,35).
