In the American Art auction, the work Cheap Music sold for USD 18,750.00 (€ 17,725.47) - well above the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Gary Thomas Erbe; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Those Amazin' Mets sold at auction in July 2020 with the realized price of USD 30,075.00 (€ 25,543.57).
