In March 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Peonies by Gao Yihong. The result of USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,402.13) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Gao Yihong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2018 the work Rooster was auctioned for USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,151.09).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im März 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peonies von Gao Yihong zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 1.500,00 (€ 1.402,13) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 3.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Gao Yihong konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2018 die Arbeit Rooster für USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.151,09) versteigert.
