Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Bird on Branch by Gao Yihong. The price achieved of HKD 15,000.00 (€ 1,716.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Gao Yihong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2018 the work Rooster was auctioned for USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,151.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bird on Branch von Gao Yihong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 15.000,00 (€ 1.716,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Gao Yihong konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2018 die Arbeit Rooster für USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.151,09) versteigert.
