The work Ink Bamboo by Gao Yihong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. The auction ended at the price of HKD 10,000.00 (€ 1,144.50), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Other works by Gao Yihong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2018 the work Rooster was auctioned for USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,151.09).

Die Arbeit Ink Bamboo von Gao Yihong kam im Mai 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 10.000,00 (€ 1.144,50) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Gao Yihong konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2018 die Arbeit Rooster für USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.151,09) versteigert.
