The auction ended at the price of HKD 10,000.00 (€ 1,144.50), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Other works by Gao Yihong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2018 the work Rooster was auctioned for USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,151.09).
