A top price for Gao Jianseng
This artwork by Gao Jianseng achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2011. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Tower in the Mist sold for HKD 350,000.00 (€ 33,483.24) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. This high result makes Tower in the Mist the most expensive artwork by Gao Jianseng that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Gao Jianseng erzielte im November 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Tower in the Mist für HKD 350.000,00 (€ 33.483,24) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00.
