Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ruins of Saint Paul's by Gao Jianfu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2021. The price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 27,797.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gao Jianfu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Moon Night in October 2021 with an auction result of HKD 4,560,000.00 (€ 507,236.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ruins of Saint Paul's von Gao Jianfu kam im November 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 27.797,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gao Jianfu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Moon Night im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.560.000,00 (€ 507.236,84).
