Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Patrol The Late Autumn by Gao Huijun was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2015. The price achieved of HKD 70,800.00 (€ 8,182.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gao Huijun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Heard a Voice in the Lonely Dusk, which sold at auction in May 2013 for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 19,833.69).

Die Arbeit Patrol The Late Autumn von Gao Huijun kam im April 2015 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 70.800,00 (€ 8.182,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gao Huijun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Heard a Voice in the Lonely Dusk beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 19.833,69) versteigert wurde.
