Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Gao Huijun was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2007. The price achieved of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 5,617.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gao Huijun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Heard a Voice in the Lonely Dusk, which sold at auction in May 2013 for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 19,833.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Gao Huijun kam im April 2007 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 5.617,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gao Huijun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Heard a Voice in the Lonely Dusk beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 19.833,69) versteigert wurde.
