Auction result misses estimated price range
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work Bird and Red Leaf by Gao Huijun for USD 3,840.00 (€ 3,628.12). This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Gao Huijun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Heard a Voice in the Lonely Dusk in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 19,833.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Bird and Red Leaf von Gao Huijun für USD 3.840,00 (€ 3.628,12) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gao Huijun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Heard a Voice in the Lonely Dusk im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 19.833,69).
