Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Bird in Moonlight) by Ganesh Pyne was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2020. It changed hands for a price of USD 23,750.00 (€ 20,267.96) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ganesh Pyne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Slumberland in March last year with an auction result of USD 529,200.00 (€ 477,057.60).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Bird in Moonlight) von Ganesh Pyne kam im September 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 20.267,96) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 18.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ganesh Pyne erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Slumberland im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 529.200,00 (€ 477.057,60).
