Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Narak by Ganesh Pyne was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2021. The price achieved of GBP 35,280.00 (€ 41,797.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ganesh Pyne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Slumberland in March last year with an auction result of USD 529,200.00 (€ 477,057.60).

Die Arbeit Narak von Ganesh Pyne kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 35.280,00 (€ 41.797,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ganesh Pyne erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Slumberland im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 529.200,00 (€ 477.057,60).
