In September 2020 Christies in New York held the auction A Lasting Engagement: The Jane and Kito de Boer Collection, which included the work Savitri (Behula) by Ganesh Pyne. The »bidding war« ended at USD 162,500.00 (€ 138,675.54), 35% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ganesh Pyne - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Slumberland, which sold at auction in March last year for USD 529,200.00 (€ 477,057.60).

Im September 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion A Lasting Engagement: The Jane and Kito de Boer Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Savitri (Behula) von Ganesh Pyne zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 162.500,00 (€ 138.675,54) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Ganesh Pyne mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Slumberland beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für USD 529.200,00 (€ 477.057,60) versteigert wurde.
