Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Gaganendranath Tagore was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2012. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,643.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gaganendranath Tagore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bed Of Arrows (Bhishma) in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 81,250.00 (€ 113,648.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Gaganendranath Tagore kam im Juni 2012 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.643,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gaganendranath Tagore erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bed Of Arrows (Bhishma) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 81.250,00 (€ 113.648,46).
