In March 2018 Christies in New York held the auction South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art, which included the work Movement by Gaganendranath Tagore. The »bidding war« ended at USD 75,000.00 (€ 60,876.62), 25% above the upper estimate. Other works by Gaganendranath Tagore have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 81,250.00 (€ 113,648.46) in October 2015 for the work Bed Of Arrows (Bhishma).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 60.876,62) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Gaganendranath Tagore haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 81.250,00 (€ 113.648,46) im Oktober 2015 für die Arbeit Bed Of Arrows (Bhishma) beobachtet.
