Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European & Orientalist Art, which included the work Dispiacenze Infantili by Gaetano Chierici. The price achieved of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 54,318.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gaetano Chierici have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'ultimo nato in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 248,650.00 (€ 384,605.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European & Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dispiacenze Infantili von Gaetano Chierici zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 54.318,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gaetano Chierici auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'ultimo nato im Juni 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 248.650,00 (€ 384.605,24).
