Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Salici in riva al fiume by Gabriele Smargiassi for EUR 1,000.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gabriele Smargiassi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il golfo di Pozzuoli da Baia in November 2008 with an auction result of EUR 51,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Salici in riva al fiume von Gabriele Smargiassi für EUR 1.000,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gabriele Smargiassi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il golfo di Pozzuoli da Baia im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 51.200,00.
