Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gabriele Smargiassi could be acquired at Il Ponte in December 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo auction, the work L'apparizione changed hands for EUR 1,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gabriele Smargiassi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il golfo di Pozzuoli da Baia in November 2008 with an auction result of EUR 51,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gabriele Smargiassi konnte im Dezember 2021 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo wechselte die Arbeit L'apparizione für EUR 1.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gabriele Smargiassi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il golfo di Pozzuoli da Baia im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 51.200,00.
