The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il golfo di Pozzuoli da Baia in November 2008 with an auction result of EUR 51,200.00.

Die Arbeit Embarquement nocturne dans le sud de l'Italie von Gabriele Smargiassi kam im Oktober 2007 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 4.250,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gabriele Smargiassi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il golfo di Pozzuoli da Baia im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 51.200,00.
