It achieved a price of GBP 68,500.00 (€ 86,400.04), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 37%. Admittedly, works by Gabriele Ricciardelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Lanterna del Molo, Naples, with figures, the bay and Vesuvius beyond in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 299,200.00 (€ 444,050.25).

Dublin, with elegant figures and Dublin bay beyond von Gabriele Ricciardelli kam im Juli 2014 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 68.500,00 (€ 86.400,04) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 37%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gabriele Ricciardelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Lanterna del Molo, Naples, with figures, the bay and Vesuvius beyond im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 299.200,00 (€ 444.050,25).
